Job Search Control

How Can You Gain Control Of Your Job Search?

“Enlarge the place of your tent,
stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back;
lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”
Isaiah 54:2

ListenToGodsVoice-JobSearchingCoachGod’s invitation doesn’t end with that initial road-to-Damascus experience as Paul had to become a part of God’s family. That’s the first, but by no means the last.

He also calls us to yield more and more to His control. He calls us to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. He calls us to step out and join Him in His adventure. He no doubt calls many more times than we hear.

You gain control of your job search as you yield to His control…

God calls you to become aware of your inner GPS and follow it in your job search. He calls you to see how He has woven your résumé together. He calls you to observe how He is working in you through the job opportunities He opens. He calls you to let Him fine-tune your search through the interview experience. He calls you to witness His faithfulness through the job offers you receive. And He calls you to catch His vision for your future.

And those are just the calls that have to do with your job search.

He is calling you and me every day to:

  • NewCreation-JobSearchingCoachBe the new creation He has called you to be
    (2 Cor. 5:17)
  • Be His ambassadors to a hurting world
    (II Cor. 5:20)
  • Carry news of Him everywhere (Acts 1:8)
  • Suffer for His sake (Phil 1:29)
  • Be Spirit-filled (Eph. 5:18)
  • Be steadfast in our faith (I Cor. 15:58)
  • And more…

How are you responding to His calls?

Have you said “Yes” to the initial call to join His family? If not, I would encourage you to do that today.

Are you viewing your life more from His perspective so you can hear His other calls?  If not, I encourage you to commit yourself to Him each day as soon as your feet hit the floor.

Thank you for Your saving grace and loving, Father.  I reconfirm my response to your initial call and then ask that I will have ears to hear your daily calls.
